DME AP Recruitment 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education Andhra Pradesh has invited notification for eligible candidates for the 31 posts of Assistant Professor in broad specialties in the Phase II New Government medical colleges through Direct Entry and Lateral Entry methods. Only local candidates are eligible to apply for direct recruitment and Non-local candidates are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who work as Civil Assistant Surgeons in the Directorate of Public Health & Family Welfare or Andhra Pradesh Secondary Health Services (APVVP) are only eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply online through the online link given on the website from 4 May 2024 to 17 May 2024.

Before applying, the candidates should carefully check the notification of the DME Andhra Pradesh, and all instructions regarding applying online. The age of general category candidates should not be more than 42 years, EWS/SC/ST/BC candidates should not be more than 47 years, PH candidates should not be more than 52 years, and Ex-servicemen candidates should not be more than 50 years. Reservation rules will be applicable as per Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Services rules.

DME AP Age Limit
- For the General candidate age limit should be a Maximum of 42 years (should not have been born before 01-07-1981).
- For the EWS/SC/ST/BC candidate age limit should be a Maximum of 47 years (should not have been born before (01-07-1976).
- For the Physically Handicapped person candidate’s age limit should be a Maximum of 52 years (should not have been born before (01-07-1971).
- For the Ex-servicemen candidate’s age limit should be a Maximum of 50 years (should not have been born before (01-07-1973).

Pay Scale Details
- Candidates will be paid a salary as per applicable rules till the completion of the probation period. 7th UGC Pay Scale (G.O.Ms.No.22, HM & FW (A1) Department, Dated 01.03.2021) will be applicable after completion of probation period.
